This is great place to have good time. 18 and over but, the crowd is usually 21 and over. It's a good mix of peeps that go there. The crowd is usually in their 20's and 30's. This isn't a old people place. The music is good. Depending on the day there is band, norteño, tropical, cumbia's. The DJ is also pretty good playing Spanish Rock, reggaeton, Merengue, and Punta. There is usually something for everyone and it's pretty big. For all you hard core paisas I recommend going on a Thursday night it is poppin all night long. Price isn't to bad anywhere between 10 and 20. It can go as high as 30 when big names are there like Ramon Ayala and you can even get around that price if you get there early. Give it a try you won't be disappointed.
Este es un buen lugar para divertirte. Este lugar es para mayores de 18 años pero usualmente pasan de los 21, entre los 20 y 30. Aqui no ves gente mayor. No te arrepentiras.

All right kids this place is for peeps who are barely legal, 18 and over. Not old enough to drink but, old enough to party. Another hot spot to enjoy good music and the view. I really like this spot cuz it usually hosts a lot of bandas (I love banda). I have never seen this place empty and to be perfectly honest it can get pretty packed depending on who is performing. It can get pricey again depending on who is on stage that night. A word of advice, usually when there is a big name entrance will be free before 9p.m. Get there real early! The club doesn't usually start letting peeps in until 8:50 p.m. This limits the number of free entries and by 8:30 p.m .there is already a long line. If you get there much later than 8:30 you probably will end up paying anyway. Price is usually around 20 bucks up to 40 for big name performers and if you want a decent seat you'll need to pop for bottle service or a few buckets of beer. Rodeo has a little bit of everything although their speciality is banda and corridos. This place is pretty big and the dance floor is decent. A place to go to have a good time.

This is a place for our paisa babies. This is an all ages club. That means that you don't have to be 18 to get in. The music here is poppin and it recently open up a second floor that plays Hip Hop, House, and Reggaeton for those of you that want to get in real close. They have all the big names like Ramon Ayala, Los 4 de Arranque, Banda La Costeña, you get the point. There are pros and cons to this place. This place is huge and so is the dance floor love that much. Haven't gone to the second floor so can't comment on that. Another thing is that it is open until 4 a.m. (yeah!) and for all the fellas the *****es well let's just say DAMN!!! Bad thing is that it looks kind of like a warehouse on the insides and second, since it is all ages there is usually a fight or two on any given night from all those dumb ass kids who think they all that. I'd tell people give it a try at least once.

This place is a literal hole in the wall. If you're not careful you will drive right past it. This place is for the 30+ crowd. Norteño, Norteño, Norteño is there specialty and they do it good. The groups are usually local but, they play really good Norteño music. If all you care about is the music and not the spot then this is a good place. Now for the hard honest truth. It's not a place you would take a girl to on a first date; you'd never get a second one. It's small (dance floor, seating area, and stage). It look more like a bar then anything else. The have plenty of Mexican beer and the usual lights (Bud, Miller, etc.) Alcohol selection is extremely limited Margaritas and Piña Coladas that's about it.

It's a small place near Down Town Los Angeles that has been around for a minute. The dance floor is small so elbowing people is not uncommon so if you go be ready for that. The sitting area is small but manuverable and they only have one bar. Drinks are moderately priced, no different then most places. Usually on weekends it gets pretty packed. This club is frequented by peeps in their late 20's to late 30's. What I like about this place is that the girls aren't as stuck up as many other places. They will get up to go dance with you without checking out you're wallet first. The bands and Conjuntos that usually play at this place are pretty good. On occasion they will have a big name on stage like Ramon Ayala. Here there are no shortage of dance partners. I am not sure on the what days of the week they have "sexy legs contest, " Macho Man or Mariachi but they do have it. If you're interested in that give them a call to get info about the schedule.

Ok, I will try not to bash this place but, for the record I do not like it, so i'll just stick to the facts. It's small. The dance floor is really small. The first time I went here I completely tripped out. The performers are up on a really small stage above the dance floor and the entire dance floor is surrounded by tables and chairs crowded together. The mixed drinks here I did not like at all. Both times that I went the drinks were either watered down or damn one will knock you down. So both times I ended up drinking beer. Oh and before I forget fellas be very careful who you take out to dance. The girl might have a surprise when you head down south. I have not had that experience personally but, girls don't have Adams apple. The music here is mediocre. It's rather bright inside so there isn't much of a chance for you to get a little intimate in there. Most nights it's free to get in and the age range is 30+ and I'm being generous by only putting on "+" after the thirty. The ambiance here is not very up beat and everyone seems to be lost in their own little world. I would say that this is a place for locals. If you're looking for someplace new and exciting this isn't the place.

For Norteño music this is one of the good places to go. Not to say that Norteño is the only thing they play here but, that type of music is good here. The dance floor is pretty decent in size and is in the center of the club the sitting area is divided into two areas around the dance because it is elevated. The dance floor is on the bottome two steps up is the first sitting area and two mor steps up is the second larger sitting area. The drinks here are good and the price is about the same as most other places 8 bucks or so and the price to get in depends on who will be there 10 to 30 dollars. I don't like to be picky but, the only thing that for me kills the mood inside is the blue lighting. It just makes the place look dead. There are no flashing lights from anywhere. Other then that I think this is a good place to give try.

This place is also a restaurant during the day and part of the night. I've never had the food he so I don't know how good it is. That for me is not important. Let's get on with the party scene. First off it's a little bit tricky to get here. I had to his a couple of U turns in order to get here. The place was packed and it was not your typical club because it is no where near the size of Potreo's or Lido's. There are few pluses to this place. The music here is usually just DJ although I have been told that on a few occasions they will have a group play, usually a salsa group. When the DJ is playing he has a good mix of everything. I can say that I was not bored. The DJ played Norteño, Banda, Cumbia, Salsa, Merengue, Spanish Rock, a little English and Bachata; which I am discoving that Bachata is starting to make is mark in many clubs. Cover charge is pretty reasonable 10 bucks. Drinks are moderately priced 5 for beer and 8 to 10 mixed drinks. Although the dance floor is relatively small it has a very nice patio overlooking the marina. The dance floor is usually packed and its right next to one of the two bars so that adds to the congestion. If you don't mind dancing between some of the tables out on the patio then you have plenty of room. The crowd here range in their late 20's to early 30's. I have to say that there are some serious dancers out on the dance floor. Ladies you will never be at a loss for a good dancer here. The atmosphere is laid back and chill. Everyone is out to have a good time.

Iguana’s Bar isn’t a place I would really review because it wasn’t big on Spanish music but, since it was recommended and went I might as well. The DJ did play some Reggaeton, Merengue and 80’s Rock Pop in Spanish but, other then that it was basically English club music and 80’s flashback. There’s plenty I can say about Iguana’s bar but, the one word I would use to describe it is disappointing. It lacked a lot of things. This place has great potential to be so much more, don’t get me wrong. I my biggest let down was the fact that the crowd was in its early to mid twenties and the place was dead. There was no energy it was more of a low key kickback spot for locals. Surprising considering the age of the people that were there. If that’s the kind of place you like then go for it. I like action and a serge of energy when I enter the place. The place looks very small from the outside but looks are deceiving. It has two fair sized dance floors separated by a small you could say reception area. One area played modern with Reggaeton and Merengue while the other was 80 flashback and Spanish Rock Pop. Beer and drinks are average priced as everywhere else, except that the mixed drinks are served in smaller than usual glass so you are getting short changed on alcohol and the drinks are mediocre at best. Surprisingly the bouncers are very sociable. For Spanish music you’re better off going somewhere else.
